THE “PIZZA A FIGLITTE” 

Pizza of the local tradition, that once a good part of the local families prepared at home.

A distinctive feature is the shape, which in some ways resembles more a strudel than the classic flat pizza round or rectangular. In fact, it is the same name “a figlitte” to evoke a pizza characterized by a thin and crunchy dough, rolled and usually stuffed with red pepper (sweet) dried and ground, with sausage, or, in the winter version, with pork fat cracklings.

LU CANGARONE

Cangarone is a salami made from cheese obtained by filling a pork casing with a mixture of cheese, eggs, almonds, livers and raisins. It’s boiled and sliced. It’s a typical product of the carnival period.
